If you don't see a cat or kittens that you want, please come back here every few days, as there are always new ones being rescued

We home kittens
in pairs, or singly
if there is another cat  already in the home.

New homes should
have a cat flap,
be away from
busy roads
and not have
children under five

Feral cats needing outdoor homes

shorne ferals1.jpg (1350016 bytes)

Anim-Mates is looking for homes,
for neutered, adult feral cats,
in a rural setting such as farms or
stables, smallholdings and even large gardens.

Feral cats earn their keep controlling
rodents on farms and stables.

Below are cats in reception

Cats in reception are either newly rescued or are receiving medical treatment prior to being rehomed

Newly rescued cats are assessed by our vets and foster carers before being considered for re-homing.

Please get your cat neutered

This is what happens
 if you don't

A female cat can start to reproduce from the age of six months and could be responsible for in excess of 20,000 descendants within five years.

An unneutered male can impregnate
hundreds of cats a year

Please get your cat neutered

All our rescued cats
are neutered prior to rehoming, to reduce the large number of
unwanted cats, and to ensure that no cat for re-homing can breed.

The exceptions are young kittens. We require their new owners to guarantee that they will not go out until after they have been neutered.

Are you a cat lover?
Join the Anim-Mates kitten/cat fostering team

To help us cope with the demand we need to recruit a voluntary fosterer from the SE London/North West Kent area to join our small team of cat and kitten fosterers.

Could you care for some cats/kittens until a new home can be found for them?

Please be aware that they may be in your care for weeks or several months at a time.

You need to have experience of cats/kittens, and have your own transport.

Interested? Please call Teresa
  01634 271456  and 07743 331397
