If you wish to support our work please become a Friend of Anim-Mates. It will cost you a minimum donation (subscription) of £7.50 for one year's membership.

Your donation will help Anim-Mates rescue cats, dogs, rabbits and guinea pigs.

You will receive the Anim-Mates quarterly Newsletter which is always full of news and pictures about Anim-Mates, its animals and its work.

Anim-Mates is a voluntary animal welfare group, registered with the Charity Commission. Our aim is to rescue animals in need, care for them, and find new loving homes for them.

All rescued animals receive a health check and any medical treatment needed. Where appropriate they were vaccinated, de-fleaed, wormed, neutered, All are given loving care in our fosterers' homes before being rehomed.

Anim-Mates doesn't turn away any animal on the basis of character or disability. We have cared for dogs and cats that have been seriously injured, rabbits and guinea pigs that are ill or pregnant or badly traumatised. 

Anim-Mates is run entirely by volunteers, and all our funding comes from private donations and fundraising activities.

Funds are spent on 

• Inoculations and worming
• Vets fees
• Medication
• Neutering animals
• Pet food
• Cat litter
• Leaflets to find new homes
  Printing newsletters, stationery, adoption agreements, etc.
