Friendly cat likes plenty of cuddles

Mattie is a rather large, longhaired ginger and white cat, who is six years old and in need of a new home. His Anim-Mates foster carer has found that he is friendly and likes plenty of cuddles. He has been neutered. “ We would like to find a home without children for Mattie,” says Dennis White of Anim-Mates.

Anim-Mates is an animal rescue group based in north-west Kent and south-east London.

All the animals are cared for in the homes of fosterers who treat them as their own pets until they are rehomed.

Anim-Mates is run entirely by volunteers whose sole aim is to rescue, care for, and rehome unwanted animals.

Animals rescued are often in a sad and sorry condition and, quite often, can be very ill. Anim-Mates takes on the responsibility of trying to restore all animals to optimum health, before rehoming them. All animals are neutered, and cats and dogs are microchipped prior to rehoming. All new homes are vetted.
