Can you home a cat or a guinea pig duo?

19 January 2006
THIS week our Help a Pet appeal is looking to rehome a cat.

Sammie came into the care of Anim-Mates following the recent death of her owner.

Dennis White from Anim-Mates said: "Sammie is still trying to come to terms with the death of her owner.

"She is shy and appears to be quite upset.

"Sammie needs a person who can handle a temperamental girl who requires a lot of love and patience"

If you can offer Sammie a new home please call Mel on 01322 4057000.

Also looking for a new home this week are 11-month-old guinea pigs Gordon and Fonzi.

They have lived on a balcony for most of their life but are now looking for a proper home.

Mr White said: "Gordon is rather shy while Fonzi is very outgoing."

If you can offer Gordon and Fonzi a new home please call Lisa on 01322 350352. Last week, we featured Holly the border collie, in our Help a Pet appeal. After seeing our appeal, she has gone to live with a family in Sevenoaks.

Anim-Mates is an animal rescue group based in north-west Kent and south-east London

All the animals are cared for in the homes of fosterers who treat them as their own pets until they are rehomed.
