LOOKING FOR A HOME: Clyde and Dixie

CLYDE was rescued by Anim-Mates after his owner could no longer care for him.

The 10-year-old cat was diagnosed with diabetes and his former owner agreed that he should be put to sleep.

But Anim-Mates saved him and is now hoping to find him a new home.

Dennis White, of Anim-Mates, said: "We need to find a new owner who will be able to administer Clyde's injections."

Also looking for a new home this week is hamster Baby Dixie.

Anim-Mates is an animal rescue group based in North West Kent and South East London.

All the animals are cared for in the homes of fosterers who treat them as their own pets until they are re-homed.

If you can offer Clyde or Baby Dixie a new home, call 020 8355 6888 or 07743 331397.
