Smartie

Smartie, who was born in April 2007, had a fractured shoulder and subsequently suffered nerve damage. Because of this he has to have regular veterinary checks to ensure he is pain free.

His permanent home is a shelter and field at St Mary Hoo, which he happily shares with other Care for Life Shetland ponies

Smartie is in the Anim-Motes Care for Life scheme and will be spending the rest of his life with us - we hope he has a happy and carefree one.
