Tonight this sweet little boy came into our care. He is filthy, matted, stinks, drools and is completely congested. He is also unneutered and has no microchip.
He’s been fed by a local couple for the last 3 months and was gradually getting worse. All attempts to find a possible owner via Animals Lost and Found in Kent have been unsuccessful so far.
The little boy is safely tucked away for the night and had a flea treatment. Hopefully our vet can squeeze us in tomorrow morning for a check-up and antibiotics.

+++ UPDATE +++
Iago has seen our lovely vet Magda and received a much needed antibiotic and steroid injection to help his mouth and diarrhoea.
Iago’s mouth is in such a terrible state that Magda booked him in straight away for Monday morning to have an emergency dental done. It looks like all teeth will have to be extracted as they are wobbling and his gums are so infected that they start bleeding as soon as they are being touched.
We have no idea how poor Iago even managed to eat!
His bloods came back fine apart from a slight aneamia and he tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
Iago will also be castrated and microchipped on Monday.
He is such a happy and grateful little boy, despite his pain.
Thankfully he now has a bright future ahead of him.
Thank you all so much for your well wishes and generous donations which helped to make this possible
