This poor little soul has come into our care after the residents of Horton Kirby became concerned for his welfare. We got him as soon as we could and knocked on doors to find out more. We were told an elderly lady had been feeding a feral colony for a number of years and that ‘Kirby’ is thought to be one of the last two survivors. The lady is no longer able to feed the ferals and we can only imagine that, with his food source gone, Kirby had been wandering around seeking help and food. He is elderly and emaciated, severely matted, filthy, partially sighted, and has bad teeth and worms. Kirby has a long road of recovery ahead of him and we will try our best to make his golden years as happy as possible.
